MINISTRY OBJECTIVE To encourage and equip the body of Christ to do the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To encourage Christians to develop their gifts, talents, and God-given abilities. To be relevant and open to new ministry ideas that will enable Christians to become disciples of Christ Jesus. To lead people to realize who God has designed them to be and find their individual place of ministry and mission. To create viable and relevant ministry environments that will be a catalyst for discipleship and personal spiritual growth. To network pastors, churches, and ministers to empower and equip believers to make an impact in the community and world. To make disciples that make disciples.
CALL TO MINISTRY I gave my heart and life to Jesus Christ and followed Him as Savior and Lord in 1979 at Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, Mississippi. I felt God calling me into full-time Christian service in the summer of 1982. At that time, I did not understand the specifics, but I knew that God was calling me to serve Him. Since that time God has led me through many challenging and rewarding ministry experiences that were not only used for serving Him, but also to teach me about Christian ministry. My family and I desire to be obedient to His call on my life as a minister in the Kingdom of God.
